Babylonwaves released the all new Art Conductor for Logic Pro X 10.4 Articulation Sets. The collection holds over 550 presets of all sorts of well known orchestra libraries including titles from Spitfire, Orchestral Tools, Cinematic Samples, HeavyocitDie japanische Software Firma Fujiya hat mit Vintage Humbucker Guitar eine neue Library für die Kontakt Vollversion, ab 5.5, vorgestellt. Mir war diese Firma bisher unbekannt. Sie existiert aber schon seit 2007. Die Samples wurden mit einer STR Gitarre der Vintage Reihe, deshalb wohl der Name, aufgenommen.

Die Library hat eine Größe von 3,2 GB und ist mit den Keyboards von Native Instruments kompatibel. Verschiedene Spielweisen in Mono und Polyphonie sind möglich. Zudem sind die Klangbeispiele auch als MIDI Dateien im Download enthalten. Die Software kostet 139,- USD.

Art Conductor enable Logic users to control their orchestra articulations conveniently on a per-note basis, without the need to spend ours to program their own templates.
All articulations are sorted in alphabetical order and the most common share the same key switches across all presets. This way you always have e.g. Marcato on D-2 and Spiccato on E-1, independently of the library you’re using.
The same abbreviations are used in every set and the techniques are named in a consistent fashion. In other words, everything is designed to allow composers to focus on their music instead of technicalities.
